All technical staff of E.E.B. have specific experience in the pratical field of sport training.
Many of them are also Doctors of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in select fields of applied sciences to human performance.
All technical experts have a college degree specifically related to sport training sciences and many of them are former elite athletes with an outstanding experience as a coach.

JOAQUIM REVERTER

University professor of Artistic Gymnastics and Motor Learning (Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona).

He has competed in sports gymnastics and in various sailing modalities at a national level.

He has been teaching physical education classes at schools for over 30 years and has extensive experience in training children and youth gymnasts.

Specialist in gymnastic training, water sports and adventure sports.

DAVID RIBERA-NEBOT

 

Bachelor's degree in Human Movement Sciences from Barcelona University (1990), a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology from Indiana University, USA (1994-96), a Ph.D. in Human Movement Sciences from Barcelona University and Lleida Universities (1997-2015), and Superior Basketball Coach from Spanish Basketball Federation (1987).

Coaching experience in various sports, including basketball (from youth to the ACB-Spanish-First-League and the Spanish U-20 team), motorcycling (speed, motocross, and enduro), taekwondo, BJJ and MMA, futsal, marathon and mountain races, circus activities, and special services for the air forces.

For over 15 years, David has been dedicated to teaching physical education classes in public schools. Since 2009, he is professor of sports training at the Sports Performance Institute in Sant Cugat (Barcelona), and since 2011, he is a visiting professor of movement optimization at the Faculty of Education of Lleida University.

Since 2004, he is the co-coordinator of the EEB Sport Training Barcelona. David's athletic background includes competing in karate, basketball, and chess during his youth. 

For holistic optimization, he practices Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Yoga, and various sport activities.

 
   
 

LUÍS LIZASO SAINZ

 

- An athlete and coach specializing in throwing. Associated with FC Barcelona, ​​he trained under Paco Seirul·lo and Wolfram Scholz. He was a five-time Catalan discus champion (1984, 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991) and a shot put champion (1987). He finished second in the Catalan discus championship (1987-91) and set the Catalan record for the discus throw (1987). He competed more than fifteen times with the Spanish national team.

BENITO OJEDA SANZ

 

- Catalan athlete and teacher specializing in long-distance running. Athlete who has excelled in various specialties, cross-country, track or road, and has specialized in longer distances such as the half marathon or marathon. Catalan marathon champion between 1993 and 2008, an event in which he set the Catalan record in 1995 with a time of 2:13:24, and Spanish marathon champion in 2000 and 2001. Two 10 km road races in 1998 and 2004, and two more than 10,000 m. on the track in 1993 and 1996. He won the Barcelona Marathon in 1994 and 1996 and several popular races.

NICO GIL

 

Nico Gil has lived and breathed sport since he was a child, representing his country in international swimming and water polo competitions and ending his career as a professional athlete in Europe. Today he is a renowned personal and high-performance trainer.
 

His career as an athlete, combined with complex and continuous training and experience acquired over the years, have allowed him to transcend and develop his own training systems aimed at the different branches of physical activity: Health and Sports Performance. His broad professional spectrum allows him to work with different types of clients, from people who want to improve their body composition, rehabilitate an injury, improve their physical condition, through world-class professional athletes, to the preparation of “extreme” personal challenges.

Ivan has been a teacher of various fitness topics since 1996 (ANEF Barcelona Fitness Training). For almost 20 years he has been a technical coordinator of fitness activities at Calfon Wellnes, where he has also been a group fitness teacher and personal trainer. Qualified Swiss physiotherapist since 1986, a qualified Swiss gym and sports coach since 1992. Since 1997, University professor of Fitness and Physiotherapy Training at the Institute of Movement and Sports Sciences at ETHZ (Zurich University) and at the ASVZ Academic Sports Association of Zurich (where she is the director since 2013).
International lecturer and presenter in multiple fitness topics such as T-BOW Workout, Spinning, Toning, Stretching, HipHop, Fit-Ball, Aerobic, Jazz Dance; and in other training topics such Conditioning Training, Free Climbing and Snowboard.
Sandra Bonacina had a good musical education and played different instruments as the flute and the organ; practiced Ballet, Jazz Dance and Street Dance; participated at international competitions of Aerobics (2 times Swiss Champion), Artistic Gymnastics Women, Rock and Roll and Acrobatic Shows; and was dancer in various international dance shows.
During 1997-1999 managed two big fitness clubs in Zurich. Experience in show business directing a circus and creating the choreographies of its dance performances.

RNDr., Mgr., PhD. Professor of Biomechanics, Sport Performance (topics), Windsurfing, Sailing and Skiing at the Universities of Bratislava (Slovakia) and Ceske Budejovice (Czech Republic), cooperating with Brno and Ruzomberok universities.
Professional and scientific research areas: sport performance, condition and coordination abilities, biomechanical analysis in different sports.
Coach of Slovak National Team in Windsurfing and Sailing (1993 – 2004) and Slovak Sailing Olympic Class 470 (since 2007). His competitors achieved European Champion Title, University World Champion Title and three more medals, also participated at Olympic Games in windsurfing.
He also coached tennis players for several years.
Sailed in many international and national competitions in boat and windsurfing classes (Cadet, 420, 470, Laser, Windglider, Mistral, Raceboard, F 42 and Offshore boats). As a captain of Comenius University he took the 1st place in European Universities Cup – New Europe Regatta Class J24 in Slovenia in 2007 and finished the 3rd in 2005.
Owner of Internatinal Certificate of Competence for Skipper of Marine Pleasure Craft (Level A) – Oceanic Nautical Zones (Unlimited Waters).

 
   
 

MARCELO LASSO

 

Marcelo has a degree in Human Movement Sciences from the Fisio & Deporte Clinic in Montevideo (Uruguay), specializing in Therapeutic Gymnastics and Health Training. Former Bodybuilding and Fitness Duo competitor (IFBB). Teacher of Pilates Mat, Functional Pilates, Hydro-Pilates, Aerial Pilates and Hydro-Gymnastics (Institute of Aerobic Physical Culture Uruguay). He has extensive experience in personalized training for athletes, health-fitness training, group fitness and postural gymnastics.

Professor of Movement Sciences (University of Córdoba, Argentina).

Experiences as Manager and Sports Director of Fitness Centers, as a teacher of Group Sessions and Personalized Training, and as a trainer of multiple fitness-wellness modalities.

Former international competitor and aerobics and reggaeton coach.
